RETURN
10 Years Later
At the beginning of 2006, in cooperation with UNHCR Tuzla, we
produced a reportage that deals with the problems that returnees to
several villages of Northwest Bosnia and Herzegovina are faced
with. This story is namely about people who have returned to their
homes, with the promise of politicians that they would invest in
the infrastructure that is essential in these isolated areas. Four
or five years after their return, the government had not carried
out its promise, nor had they provided answers to the numerous
questions that were posed. The reportage portrays villages that
have not experienced peace, even ten years after the war.
The reportage was shown on all larger government official and
international community conferences during the pre-election period,
which had as a result that the villages mentioned in our reportage
finally got electricity, a water supply, roads, schools,
etc.
