Planet Earth Day
Since 2004, our association has been celebrating Planet Earth day,
which is done every year on April 22.
In 2004 we organized music and dance workshops for everybody who
was interested, and thus established Tuzla’s participation in a
world initiative that takes place simultaneously on all continents,
in a large number of countries all over the planet.
In 2005 we organized a workshop for the making of the Peace Dove
and we joined the initiation of the Jane Goodal Institute, of which
many other countries and cities were also part.
In 2006 we cleaned Ilinčica, with the help of scout groups. We
planted flowers in the park around the Peace Flame House and we
also promoted our members as well as the House’s workshops.
In 2007 we filled the House with activities done by youngsters of
Tuzla. There was arts contest with topic “Earth Day”, and many
drama, dance, folklore and other groups presented their work to the
audience.
