The Pace Flame House was founded and built on the initiative
of Mr. Fred
Matser and his Peace
Flame '94 Foundation from the Netherlands. He was the one who
brought together the sportsmen, that had participated in the
Sarajevo '84 Winter Olympics, and, together with other good-willed
people, he launched the initiative of bringing back ''the flame''
or peace and cooperation to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
To accomplish this goal he founded the Peace Flame '94 foundation,
which, from 1994 to this day, has been working on many projects in
Tuzla and Sarajevo.
